Elise is an animation writer with ten years of experience, starting in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, before she relocated permanently to Los Angeles in 2019. Along with being constantly delighted by the creativity and boundary-defying fun of writing for animation, Elise’s most enduring passion is in science fiction and fantasy. As a queer woman, the genre's ability to question convention, create new worlds, and center the stories of those outside the norm has always felt especially compelling to her.

Elise has written for several animated TV shows, including the AEAF award-winning 100% Wolf: Legend of the Moonstone and YouTube sensation Best Furry Friends. She was also a lead writer on all four seasons of Mediacorp Singapore's Lil Wild. She is currently staffed on an animated, action-adventure sci-fi series for Netflix, premiering in 2026.
